What’s the difference between tilting and retractable roofs?
Tilting blades rotate to adjust sunlight and ventilation. Skye systems also slide the blades back to open the roof. Camargue and Algarve have tilting blades; Camargue Skye and Aero Skye offer both movements.
Can I add side screens?
Yes, on compatible configurations. Camargue and Camargue Skye offer integrated Fixscreen options; Algarve uses surface-mounted Fixscreens. We’ll confirm the screen layout and available side elements for your chosen model.
Can a pergola attach to my home?
Camargue and Algarve can be freestanding or wall-mounted. Aero Skye is designed to integrate into a roof structure. The right approach depends on your building and requires a project-specific structural review.
How is the right configuration chosen for a Florida home?
Start with the location, exposure, dimensions, and intended use. Structural requirements, anchoring, drainage, and local approvals must be checked for the exact system and installation. A general product description does not establish a hurricane rating or code approval for your project.
